Street Named After the Future

Maps show a street that does not exist. GPS insists, "Turn right on Tomorrow Avenue." Drivers find only empty lots. One night, construction noise erupts. By morning, a narrow road appears, lined with lampposts not yet invented. People walk it cautiously. Their phones stop working. Signs show ads for products they have never seen. At the end, the street dissolves into dirt. The city paves it over, but it keeps returning on rainy days.
