Our Story

Black Lantern Club was founded in 2024 with a simple goal: to create a space where short fiction could thrive. In an age of algorithmically-curated content, we wanted to build something different—a curated collection of stories that reward deep reading and careful craft.

What started as a modest collection has grown into a library of over 150 stories, spanning thousands of words and countless imagined worlds. Each story is selected for its ability to captivate, provoke, or transform.
